PENNSYLVANIA GARAGE GETS PROTECTION
The use is briefly described of a cathodic protection system to correct serious corrosion levels in a 21-year-old, 5-level parking garage in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The garage is exposed to heavy wheel traffic and corrosion-inducing salts, and the concrete deterioration had reached alarming proportions. More than 13,000 sq feet of one level were restored while parking operations continued on other levels.
