BRITISH COLUMBIA SECONDARY STUDENTS : LIFESTYLE AND DRIVING SURVEY

The goal of this project was to gather data on social, cultural and existential variables that influence young drivers in British Columbia. Part of the study involved interviews with students in selected British Columbia secondary schools. This report presents the results of those interviews, arranged in the following areas: 1) description of all students' lifestyle features such as weekend activities, alcohol-related subjects, parents, laws, driving practices, and the car; 2) description of non-driving students' lifestyle expectations of driving; and 3) licensed students reported driving behaviours and lifestyle realities.
