REGIONAL TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN UPDATE FOR FISCAL YEARS 1990 - 1994. IOWA PLANNING REGION 10

The FY90-94 East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) Transit Development Plan (TDP) addresses the paratransit needs of East Central Transit (Benton, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn, and Washington counties) for the next five years. The primary direction of East Central Transit will be to continue to provide service to elderly, handicapped, and disadvantaged groups at a level equal to FY88 which reaches 426,000 trips system wide. The system's capital needs are also discussed in detail in the final chapter. The capital needs primary focus is on baseline service fleet replacements as funding constraints make it difficult to add more equipment at this time.
