APPLICATION OF NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING TECHNIQUES FOR EVALUATION OF THE ENGINEERING PROPERTIES OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE. VOLUME 2 (APPENDICES)
The principal goals of the Phase I and Phase II studies were, respectively: (1) to establish the validity of predicting strength from nondestructive measurements and to select an optimum combination of sample configuration - test method - sample preparation technique for use in Phase II and III (2) to study the effects of aggregate type, water:cement ratio, and cement factor on the prediction of long term strength from early time pulse velocity measurements. A recommended Phase III work plan is presented in Appendix B (Volume II).
