STATE AND COMMUNITY PROGRAM AREA REPORT: MOTORCYCLE SAFETY, 1985-1986
This report summarizes the efforts of the States and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the development, planning and implementation of motorcycle safety programs. It discusses the motorcycle crash injury problem, the elements of a comprehensive State Motorcycle Safety Program, available documentation of program effectiveness, and examples of innovative State motorcycle safety activities and noteworthy projects.
