AIR FLOW IN FAIRBANKS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT. TECHNICAL NOTE
The sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) tracer method of air flow determination was used to investigate the air flow characteristics of a particular room in the Intensive Care Unit of Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Earlier in the year, a tuberculosis patient had been treated in that room, and a number of Intensive Care nurses later contracted an arrested form of tubrculosis.
