MILES, VEHICLE MILES, ACCIDENTS AND ACCIDENT RATES IN IOWA BY ROAD SYSTEM: 1984-1988

This is a statistical report of miles, vehicle miles, accidents and accident rates in Iowa by road system for the years 1984 through 1988. Two-, three-, four-, and five-year average accident rates are presented for rural and municipal roads. A statewide summary of travel, fatal accidents, fatalities and fatality rates for the years 1964 through 1988 is also included.
