CONTROLLER EVALUATION OF INITIAL DATA LINK AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SERVICES: MINI STUDY 1, VOLUME 1
This report gives the results of Ministudy 1, Volume 1. This ministudy was conducted at the FAA Technical Center utilizing the Data Link testbed. Initial Data Link air traffic control services were evaluated under part task simulation conditions in order to identify service delivery methods which optimize controller acceptance, performance and workload. This report delineates the results for the first two ministudies and a research and development operational evaluation which comprise the Phase 1 Data Link services package.
