NEW YORK AIRPORT GROUND TRANSPORTATION ATTITUDES: VISITING TRAVELERS. QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
This research represents an addition to the basic qualitative study of public practices and attitudes for different modes of airport ground transportation. The basic study of New York area residents is reported separately. The purpose of this research is to extend that study to visiting travelers -- both business and pleasure. More specifically this research provides input on the following questions: a) visiting travelers' perceptions of their trips to and from the New York airports, including problems and needs for improvement; b) dynamics of mode selection; and c) mode shift considerations, particularly from private to public.
