IOWA HIGHWAY PROJECT OPEN HOUSE - SEPTEMBER 1983, IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY, AMES

This publication contains the proceedings of a one-day conference which reviewed Iowa's rehabilitation programming. The Iowa DOT pavement rehabilitation efforts are a growing part of the total Primary and Interstate System Program. The allocation of resources by the Transportation Commission in priority order is: (1) day-to-day maintenance; (2) preservation of existing pavements and structures; and (3) system improvements. Included in the proceedings is information on Iowa's current efforts with PCC inlays, thin bonded PCC overlays, and unbonded PCC overlays.
