AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL. EFFORTS TO EXPAND THE NEW YORK TERMINAL AREA AUTOMATION SYSTEM
This report discusses the status of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) actions to enhance computer capability at its New York Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility. Issues are raised for FAA's consideration, to ensure that these actions will increase system capacity to meet current and future requirements at the New York TRACON, and related contract management problems are discussed.
