MERCATOR AND HASTUS-MACRO COMPUTERIZATION AND CHANGING WORKING CONDITIONS FOR RATP BUS DRIVERS. FROM THE BOOK COMPUTER SCHEDULING OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT 2
This paper discusses two computer systems, MERCATOR and HASTUS-MACRO, and their roles in scheduling workdays for bus drivers in the Regie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP). The systems were also used for forecasting and budgeting efforts, and for predicting the effects of any future developments in working conditions for RATP bus drivers.
