PROCESS TECHNOLOGY AND PROPERTIES OF READY-MIXED POLYESTER CONCRETE --THE PRODUCTION, PERFORMANCE AND POTENTIAL OF POLYMERS IN CONCRETE. 5TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON POLYMERS, BRIGHTON, SEPTEMBER 24-27, 1987
This paper deals with a basic investigation on the process technology and properties of ready-mixed polyester concrete. Polyester concrete using unsaturated polyester resin, filler, fine and coarse aggregates is pre-mixed with various accelerator contents, and stored for 28 days at -20, 0 and 20 deg c. After storage, the polyester concrete is mixed with various catalyst contents, and tested for working life and strength. The effects of mixing time, accelerator and catalyst contents, storage temperature and period on the working life and strength of the ready-mixed polyester concrete are discussed. In conclusion, the process technology of the ready-mixed polyester concrete is successfully developed.(a) for the covering abstract of this congress see IRRD 814075.
