FURFURYL ALCOHOL POLYMER CONCRETES: RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENTS IN SOUTHERN AFRICA - PHASE TWO --THE PRODUCTION, PERFORMANCE AND POTENTIAL OF POLYMERS IN CONCRETE. 5TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON POLYMERS, BRIGHTON, SEPTEMBER 24-27, 1987
Furfuryl alcohol, available in large quantities in South Africa, is currently being investigated as a monomer to be used in polymer concrete for southern African applications. Different environmental and application conditions demand a modified mix composition and this paper describes the research and development that has been carried out to obtain a suitable material on which large scale application tests are to be done.(a) for the covering abstract of this congress see IRRD 814075.
