ONE RIDESHARE 'TO GO'

In an effort to promote ridesharing and public transportation among the more than 400,000 daily commuters in the Hartford area, a new transportation guide, 'DOT's To Go,' has been developed and distributed to over 75,000 employees. It offers suggestions designed to whet the appetite for riding together or on other trips. It gives information on carpooling, vanpooling and public transportation services. Recommendations are given on how to initiate changes in traveling habits.
