GERMAN TECHNOLOGY

German companies have one of the strongest traditions in Europe for ground support equipment. Reviewed are the tow-barless tractor which saves time and decreases incidences of damage to aircraft and various cargo and container handling devices such as the pallet/container loader which are easier for operators to manage and bring about more accurate positioning at baggage and cargo hold doors. Also discussed is the valuable role of Germans as consultants to other countries.
