COLD-COATED BITUMINOUS MIXTURES

Cold-coated bituminous mixtures, which can be kept in storage, have been used for 10 years in Yugoslavia for repainting surfacings and building secondary road wearing courses. Numerous tests have been carried out on the laying of cold-coated materials for wearing courses of heavily trafficked roads. This report describes existing and new procedures for tests on cold coated materials. /TRRL/
