ORIGINAL 16-BIT MICROCOMPUTER FOR AUTOMOTIVE-ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEMS

The microcomputer was specifically developed for the large automotive engine control-system market. Using 1.3 micrometer rule high-performance silicon gate CMOS technology, it includes a 16-bit CPU, powerful pulse output-control and input-measurement functions for timer systems, an analog-to-digital converter with 10-bit resolution, etc., integrated onto one chip. It is ideally suited for real-time control applications.
