SGP-300 BOGIE PERFORMS WELL ON ROMA-WIEN RUN
Two prototype high speed trains, the SGP-300-HG and the SGP-300-R running at speeds of 300 kn/h and 200 km/h respectively, are described. Specifications were that excellent running up to 300 km/h, reduction of wheel/rail forces and wear especially on sharply curved lines be attainable, and that the final product require low maintenance and be light weight.
