DELTA OPENS ITS NEW LAX TERMINAL
Described is the new Delta Air Lines Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport. The old facilities were remodelled and expanded and include a new-look satellite building where passengers progress along palm tree lined paths, terraced lounges, gardens, restaurants and shops, automated baggage handling system, passenger bridges for access to aircraft from the gates, and a groundside, glass-covered footbridge which provides direct access from the airport's multi-storey carpark to the new Delta facilities.
