OPTIMAL DESIGN AND DYNAMIC SIMULATION OF A MOTORCYCLE WITH LINKAGE SUSPENSION
This paper concerns the dynamics of a motorcycle adopting rear linkage suspension. After a short review of the best-known structural solutions, a computer-aided procedure for the kinematic synthesis of linkage suspensions is described. Additionally, a five-degree-of-freedom dynamic model is proposed to analyse how the linkage design parameters affect the motorcycle's overall dynamic response. (a)
