DETERIORATION OF BITUMINOUS PAVEMENTS: A STRUCTURAL MODEL
DETERIO DE PAVIMENTOS ASFALTICOS; UN MODELO ESTRUCTURAL
Pavement behaviour models are fundamental to the implementation of a pavement management system, the main purpose of which is to predict the optimum time for carrying out network maintenance or rehabilitation. This paper presents a structural behaviour model for asphalt pavements in Chile. The approach of the analysis is theoretical and is based on the burmister equations, with the use of experimental support to calibrate the model.
