John Deere's new 992D-LC excavator is the largest, most powerful model in the company's excavator line. It has an operating weight of 97,530 lb. and an engine rated at 265 net hp, and a microprocessor-controlled hydraulic system with three operating modes to provide fuel-efficient production matched to job requirements.
