A LOOK AT WHAT SOME STATES ARE DOING. MOTORISTS "SEE RED" IN INDIANA
The Indiana Department of Highways is implementing a new sign plan to remind motorists not only to slow down because it's the law, but also because it could put Indiana at risk of losing nearly $8 million in federal funds, if speeds in the 55 mph zone do not go down soon. It is reoprted that other states using the "red flag" method have found it eye-catching and effective.
