SKY LOBBY ELEVATORING
Describes the concept of sky lobby elevators, which were introduced in the 110-story World Trade Center building in New York City. Sky Lobby elevatoring divides very tall buildings into sections, with the upper sections each served by shuttle elevators carrying passengers to sky lobbies, from which the passengers continue by section, in local or express elevators to their destination floors. This article provides design and cost figures for estimating when to use sky lobby elevators.
