BUSINESS DIVISION HELPS RURAL TRANSIT SYSTEMS TO FINANCE NEW VENTURES
The new Business Development and Financial Services Division of Rural America will provide financial assistance to community-based rural transit providers ranging from resources to innovative approaches to expanding markets and service. The Division which combines management of the Rural Transportation Investment Program (RTIP) and the intercity bus feeder project with on-going technical assistance will enable rural transit providers the opportunity to take advantage of emerging entrepreneurial opportunities.
