REPORTING SYSTEMS FOR RURAL TRANSPORTATION OPERATORS

This paper describes the microcomputer-based reporting system for rural transportation operators. The system was developed as a project initiated by the Tennessee Department of Transportation; it utilizes dBase II and is run on an Apple III microcomputer. The system documents client characteristics and client trip information. It also includes a vehicle utilization file to document the operating history of vehicles.
