TRANSPORT COORDINATION AND SOCIAL POLICY
This book reviews the role of special or community transport services in the UK, and from an analysis of their operations evaluates their contribution within the passenger transport sector. The study is intended to redress the balance in contemporary transport studies by examining a range of transport services which are largely omitted from traditional transport plans, but which need to be acknowledged and understood because of their current use and potential application to public transport issues.
