STATISTICAL TRENDS IN RAILROAD HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION SAFETY
Statistics in the movement of hazardous materials by rail between 1978 and 1986 are analyzed. Factors discussed are accident types and causes, tank car involvement, and trends. Comparisons are made between F.R.A. and Office of Hazardous Materials Transportation statistics.
