MEETING OF SOVIET-AMERICAN EXPERT GROUP ON PROJECT 3: "MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS FOR URBAN PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION" AND PROJECT 4: "URBAN GOODS DISTRIBUTION" DEVELOPED UNDER THEME 3: "APPLICATION OF COMPUTERS IN MANAGEMENT OF LARGE CITIES"

This memorandum reports on the meeting in April 1975 of the Soviet and American specialists who have been studying Project 3 (Management Systems for Urban Passenger Transportation) and Project 4 (Urban Goods Distribution) developed under theme 3 (Application of Computers in Management of Large Cities), in accordance with agreements between the U.S.S.R. and the U.S.A. on scientific-technical cooperation. A listing of the reports presented at the meeting is given and brief comments are made on the exchange of opinions between the Soviet and American specialists. Appendices include a list of participants and outlines of Projects 3 and 4.
