AAR RECOMMENDED BROADENED DIESEL FUEL SPECIFICATIONS

Ten distillate fuels were tested in railroad diesel engines. Deposits were measured and evaluated. Wear on engine parts was also evaluated. AAR recommends broadened fuel specifications based on the results which are included.
