MOTOR VEHICLES (WEARING OF REAR SEAT BELTS BY CHILDREN) ACT 1988
This act makes the wearing of rear seat belts by children in the United Kingdom compulsory unless the child is exempted for medical reasons. The prosecution and punishment of offences under the act are also described briefly.
