IN DEPTH INVESTIGATIONS OF ROAD ACCIDENTS WITHIN THE SWEDISH DEFENSE FORCES: REPORT FROM A PILOT STUDY

The aim of the study was to test, within the defense forces, a methodology for in-depth investigations of road acccidents, developed by the Insurance Road Safety Committee, and used in connection with civilian road accidents. The report gives a description of the methodology and of how it was used in the investigation that was done by personnel from the Motor School of the Swedish Army. A complete description of one investigation and examples of results form the others are included in the report.
