LEAD BATTERIES. DECEMBER 1981-DECEMBER 1988 (CITATIONS FROM THE NTIS DATABASE)

This bibliography contains citations concerning research and development, and applications of lead batteries. Topics include performance evaluations of specific batteries, manufacture and design aspects, and electrochemical studies. Although a variety of applications are presented, most are in conjunction with electric vehicle propulsion and electric utility load-leveling studies. Environment effects and occupational health hazards associated with lead battery manufacture and use are also discussed. (This updated bibliography contains 215 citations, 21 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
