AIRLINE CONCENTRATION AT HUB AIRPORTS. HEARING BEFORE THE COMMITTEE ON COMMERCE, SCIENCE, AND TRANSPORTATION, UNITED STATES SENATE, 100TH CONGRESS, 2D SESSION
This hearing focuses on airline concentration at hub airports, and in particular on a General Accounting Office study of fares at Lambert in St. Louis before and after the merger between TWA and Ozark. The concern is whether competition is truly working under deregulation, and if not should there be a return to regulation, or is there some other way to better assure competition, and access, at airports that are now dominated by the airlines. Included are testimony, prepared statements, and other material submitted for the record.
