SEMINAR ON SEMI RIGID PAVEMENTS. PRELIMINARY REPORT --PIARC XVIII WORLD ROAD CONGRESS, BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, SEPTEMBER 13-19, 1987
This seminar studies the following aspects of semi-rigid pavements: (1) terminology and definitions relating to semi-rigid pavements; (2) objectives of the treatment of pavement layers with hydraulic or pozzolanic binders; (3) constituents, composition and methods of formulation; (4) formation and appearance of cracks; (5) design of road structures comprising one or more layers with hydraulic binder; (6) specific aspects of the manufacture and laying of materials treated with hydraulic binders; (7) maintenance and rehabilitation; (8) assessment of the performance of semi-rigid pavements.
