COMBINED ROAD-RAIL FREIGHT TRAIN. FINAL REPORT
KOMBI-LASTZUG. ABSCHLUSSBERICHT
This project on the new combined freight train is intended to make a contribution to ensuring that the technical design and construction of transport vehicles on the one hand and combined goods traffic do not go their separate ways. Commercial goods traffic has always required that vehicles which are used in combined traffic should be road vehicles and not special vehicles. The main point is that transport firms should have a town delivery vehicle, which can also be used in a long distance train in goods freight traffic, but is simultaneoosly a universal connection for the interchange and container traffic coming in and going out of nodal points of container stations as in inner city commercial traffic.
