CONTINU RIJOPLEIDINGSONDERZOEK 1987. ALGEMEEN GEDEELTE
In the ongoing study about driver training about 1000 driving test candidates are interviewed about the driver examination, the driver training, problems about traffic safety and other relevant problems. The average education of the candidates was equal in 1987, in contradiction to earlier years. From the candidates 50% had work, 40% were still at school or studying. The remaining 10% were housewives or people without work. The candidates have had an average driver training of eleven months. Women have had 36% more driving lessons than men. The longer the driving lesson is, the cheaper the lesson is per hour. The average price per lesson of 60 minutes was Dutch guilders 42.50 in 1987.
