A DOUBLE DUTCH NETWORK LOCATION MODEL FOR INNOVATIVE FIRMS. TRANSPORTATION PLANNING RESEARCH COLLOQUIUM 1987, EIGHT MILLION CARS IN 2010, THE HAGUE, NOVEMBER 26-27, 1987
EEN DOUBLE DUTCH NETWERK LOCATIEMODEL VOOR INNOVATIEVE BEDRIJVEN
This paper describes the structure, contents and application of a new multi-criteria location model for innovative firms in a geographical network. Two main assumptions are important: (1) minimisation of physical transport costs and (2) minimisation of information costs. An application of this model to a given firm in the Randstad of the Netherlands will illustrate the scope of this model. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 811092. (Author/TRRL)
