MOBILITEITSBEREKENINGEN 1986-1995 TEN BEHOEVE VAN HET "MOBILITEITSSCENARIO RANDSTAD"

The subjects of this paper are the mobility calculations conducted during the study "Smooth Traffic in the Randstad" of the project group Mobility Scenario Randstad. After the forecast for 1995, prepared using the national model of the Transportation and Traffic Engineering Division of Rijkswaterstaat, the "bottleneck model" is presented. This is used to evaluate the effects of policy measures in the field of public transport, fuel price increase, congestion charges, parking, and new road construction.
