NEW CEMENT IS HAILED
Lone Star Industries has developed a new cement which they are calling Pyrament. It hardens in only a few hours, allowing road crews to mend or pave high-traffic highways and open them to traffic with minimal interruption. During a demonstration the concrete was placed at 9:30 a.m. and was rock hard by lunchtime. Pyrament costs six to eight cents a pound, about twice as much as ordinary cement.
