HORSES SPUR CONTRACTORS

This article describes the reconstruction of a 1-mile section of a street leading to a new race track in Oklahoma City in time for its first race. Major structures included a new triple barrel box culvert and an 80-ft. extension of an existing box culvert. Some 100,000 cu. yd. of scarce borrow and more than 19,000 tons of hot mix were placed.
