BUSES VITAL TO U.S. NUCLEAR EVACUATION
Discusses the bus transportation's role as emergency transportation in the event of a nuclear accident in the United States. Presents the argument for using both regular and school buses in emergency evacuation situations. The case of New York State's Westchester County is presented, as is the planned role of Westchester County Transit System in a possible large-scale evacuation.
