PEDESTRIAN CIRCULATION IMPACT ASSESSMENT FOR NEW YORK CITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
This paper briefly introduces the nature of pedestrian circulation problems in New York City and describes the City requirements for pedestrian space impact assessment. Several mechanisms the City is using to improve or increase pedestrian circulation space are described; analysis techniques used are reviewed.
