ROADSIDE MANAGERS CONVENE IN DALLAS

This is a report of the auunual conference of the National Roadside Vegetation Management Association (NRVMA). The discussion of wildflower cultivation was a major topic on the agenda. A topic of great interest was percieved pollution of groundwater by herbicides, and proposed rules on groundwater contamination and protection of endangered species through rules on herbicide use promulgated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. NRVMA's annual awards presentation is noted.
