SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS FOR EQUILIBRIUM NETWORK FLOW
This paper presents an approach for sensitivity analysis of equilibrium traffic assignment problems. Sensitivity analysis results for variational inequalities are presented, the network equilibrium problem is formulated as a variational inequality, and the approach to be used to obtain the sensitivity results is described. A restricted problem is developed, and the sensitivity analysis results for variational inequalities are applied to this restricted problem to obtain the desired results for the original equilibrium problem. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the method.
