BAN THE GUN
The automatic chassis lubricating system (ACLS) is banning grease guns from maintenance shops. The potential for reduced labor cost and better lubricated vehicles is helping the ACLS to make inroads among fleets. This article, based on interviews with equipment managers, discusses the potential of an ACLS, manual versus automatic lubricating systems, and field experience with the ACLS.
