SHEDDING LIGHT ON DESTINATION SIGNS
Electronic flip dot designation signs consist of an electromagnetic rotating disc hinged apparatus that flips to display either a black or colored surface whose display appears in a dot matrix pattern consisting of a maximum of 15 characters. These signs which are easily readable and have greatly reduced the number of errant boardings due to incorrect or non-functioning route signs have become the predominant type of destination sign due to the fact that they are both flexible and reliable.
