NONLINEAR DYNAMIC SLOPE STABILITY ANALYSIS
This is a discussion of a paper of the above title by R.P. Daddazio, M.M. Ettouney, and I.S. Sandler published in Journal of Geotechnical Engineering, volume 113, No. 4. The discussion focuses on the relation of the plasticity parameters of the Drucker-Prager yield criterion to those of the Mohr-Coulomb for plane strain conditions. The question is also asked how sensitive are the results of the proposed analysis procedure and the conventional analysis to small changes in plasticity parameters?
