The Capital Budgeting module is a structured approach to developing a master plan for a port based on an expansion path principle. The ports activities are divided into a program budget, with planning subprograms of fleeting and moorage, industrial development, real estate incentives, surface transportation, channel navigation and other entities that might be invested in. In order to understand how to run the capital Budgeting - Dynamic program you will need to use the VALMAT program which is included with the program. . .Software Description: The software is written in the BASIC programming language for the IBM PC XT or greater microcomputer. It requires a DOS 3.2 or greater operating system and also requires 256K bytes of memory.
